Do you want your child to be confident about their knowledge about a computer, understand what parts it consists of, what actions each of them is responsible for, and be able to diagnose and fix the problems that arise? In KIBERone CyberSchool under the guidance of the module's tutors, your child will disassemble and assemble the system unit, get acquainted with its internal components and connected peripherals, and learn the principles of setting up a PC and local network. This practical lesson will be a universal key to getting to know the PC world and its unique features.

Features of the "Computer Organization" module

This module consists of only 1 lesson, but the knowledge gained on it will be useful for children in everyday life. In addition, without this experience, it will be quite difficult to become an advanced PC user.

By the end of the course, your child will:

  • get acquainted with the device and features of the computer;
  • learn the terms and concepts, as well as safety rules and ways to save the available information;
  • will perform regular cleaning of the system unit from dust on their own;
  • be able to take care of the computer, including replacing the thermal paste on the heating elements, which will save you from unnecessary expenses for repairs and prevent premature PC failure;
  • will be able to provide computer assistance to family and friends – diagnose and replace non-working blocks, while not damaging other elements;
  • learns how and where to specify the characteristics of a computer;
  • learn how to select the optimal configuration of the system unit for specific tasks;
  • be able to make an upgrade for their PC or their friends' computers;
  • learn how to configure the connection to the local network and the Internet, connect components and peripherals, taking into account the type of external connectors;
  • learn about the features of working with different operating systems and software, how to troubleshoot software, install updates, reinstall or uninstall programs.

After this module, your child will feel confident in themselves and their abilities. They will develop computer knowledge and will stop being afraid to do something wrong, because most problems can be fixed easily be themselves.
